## About
Michael Brugh is a fine artist based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He works in oil, graphite, colored pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. His subjects include landscapes, wildlife, seascapes, boats, horses, cats, big cats, and portraits. He is a Kentucky native and former newspaper illustrator (The Cincinnati Post, 1990s) who returned to full-time art-making. His work is grounded in realism with an emphasis on light, atmosphere, and emotional resonance. He creates custom commission paintings from clients' most cherished personal memories.
